1. IIT Kharagpur join hands with MIT to launch urbanisation study course

KHARAGPUR: The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, is joining hands with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for a course to study urbanisation in the current developing world, where the concept is no longer limited to the precincts of what are administratively defined as "cities", its director said here on Sunday.

2. EAMCET-II paper leak case: Telangana scraps entrance test after CID confirms leak

Telangana Government has decided to scrap Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test-2, 2016 after CID report confirmed paper leak. The Telangana CID, probing the leak of medical EAMCET-II question paper, has one Friday arrested a 52-year-old "broker" for allegedly collecting Rs 1.73 crore from parents of 14 students, taking the total number of persons in custody to three.

KHARAGPUR: Infosys co-founder K Gopalakrishnan on Sunday said although Indian economy is growing well but we have failed to provide enough jobs. 10. Mumbai: Schools worried as students asked to find mosquito larvae

The Maharashtra education department has asked school students to search their neighbourhood for mosquito-breeding sites and hold rallies for a fortnight as part of a 'dengue awareness campaign', which starts from Monday. Schools are worried whether it is safe to send the children into areas that could be infested with the disease-causing mosquitoes.
